Matt received some excellent press yesterday from the Washington Post’s website. You can read the article at: http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/annapolis-sailor-on-unprecedented-around-the-americas-odyssey/2012/02/06/gIQAp5p6uQ_story.html

Great article, first the Post next the Times!
Great article.
The Vega is a wonderful sea going boat. My husband, named Brendan, had a love affair with his Vega, “Dark Rosaleen”, which he sailed on the Chesapeake Bay….we would be awestruck if the boat, making this incredible voyage, turned out to be our boat which we sold several years ago in the Annapolis area
My husband did sail on the Atlantic on his Vega. His was the smallest boat participating in the first Annapolis to Bermuda race back in 1980
I will try and make it to Annapolis to be there when Matt and St Brendan make it back safely to shore
Just saw the article.
Matt,
Amazing courage you have shown. I wish you luck and Godspeed!
I read that when you arrive in Annapolis you were hoping for a cold Beer. I would like to give you that cold beer. I represent Pabst Brewing company in MD. I would love if one of your friends in Annapolis coordinates with me so I can have an Ice cold PBR or Natty Boh waiting for you. I also like to see if I can help with CRAB. My email is cmhulton@pabst.com.
